In November 2021, my best friend came to visit me in Namibia. Unfortunately, she could not stay longer than 13 days, so I had to find a solution to show her the most beautiful sides of the country in the short time.
Of course I also wanted to show her my new home Windhoek. That's why we spent the rest of the time there besides our short trip. I took her around the city, showed her the malls and delicious restaurants and what you can do here in your free time.
For the other days I thought about which places I have to show her and which ones I haven't seen myself yet.
These were: Sossusvlei/Deadvlei, Spitzkoppe, Erindi Game Reserve, the Kalahari Desert and Swakopmund are part of a first visit to Namibia.
The route then looked like this:
Kalahari-Sesriem-Swakopmund-Spitzkoppe-Erindi
Then it was time for the accommodation. We wanted to camp most of the time, on the one hand because it is much cheaper, on the other hand I had to convince Johanna of the roof tent (which was done after the first night anyway).
These are the accommodations we ended up with:
Sesriem Oshana Camp (it's situated inside the park, like the NWR campsite!)
We had a little round trip, with everything from desert to coast to safari.
We could have driven to Etosha Nationalpark, but that would have been too far for one night and in Erindi you see at least as many animals, if not more ;)
